Associate Property Manager, Multifamily (Affordable)
About the role
The Associate Property Manager, Multifamily (Affordable) oversees the day-to-day operations of multifamily properties, ensuring they meet market standards and maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Regional Property Manager with community operations
- Ensures smooth running of the community
- Oversees maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
- Provides superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects
- Tracks and evaluates advertising and client traffic
- Supervises and coaches the on-site team
- Maintains residents' files and manages the community budget and finances
- Works with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals
- Manages and resolves conflicts promptly
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- High School Diploma, GED, or Technical/Vocational school required
- 3+ years of Property Management experience
- 1+ years of Management experience
Competencies
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills
- General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills
- Able to manage a team

The base salary range for this role is $26.35 - $31.00 per hour.
