About the role

As an Associate Project Manager, you will serve as project support by planning, organizing, and implementing project management principles under direct supervision. This position requires an understanding of business operations, adaptability to changing circumstances, and strong verbal and written communication skills. You will work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines, anticipate internal customer needs, and assist with essential project duties such as cost and labor tracking, material submittals, subcontractor management, and contract compliance to optimize performance and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and implement project management principles under supervision.
  • Assist with cost and labor tracking, material submittals, and subcontractor management.
  • Ensure contract compliance to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and internal customer needs.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to changing business circumstances and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in utilities, project management, and/or construction management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (desired).
