Associate Project Manager - Michels Underground Cable, Inc
About the role
As an Associate Project Manager, you will serve as project support by planning, organizing, and implementing project management principles under direct supervision. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and anticipate internal customer needs.
The role involves assisting with essential project duties such as cost and labor tracking, material submittals, subcontractor management, and contract compliance to optimize performance, productivity, and reduce costs.
Responsibilities
- Support project planning, organization, and implementation using project management principles.
- Assist with cost and labor tracking to ensure project efficiency.
- Manage material submittals and subcontractor coordination.
- Ensure contract compliance and optimize project performance.
- Work collaboratively with teams to meet deadlines and customer needs.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in utilities, project management, and/or construction management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Qualifications
Desired: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay
Expected salary range: $65,000 USD - $85,000 USD. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
