Associate Project Manager, Capital Projects (Southwest)

Accountabilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple capital projects across the Southwest region.
• Serve as a key point of contact for renovation activities, ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality, safety, and stakeholder expectations.
• Manage daily project activities across multiple construction and renovation projects, typically overseeing 3-5 projects simultaneously depending on scope and complexity.
• Cook up project meetings with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to review progress, challenges, and scheduling.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction quality, safety practices, contractor performance, and overall project progress.
• Identify potential risks, issues, and delays, escalating concerns and supporting effective resolution strategies.
• Ensure projects are completed according to approved scopes of work, contract documents, budgets, and timelines.
• Prepare and update project schedules, trackers, and reporting materials to support successful project delivery.
• Organize stakeholder meetings and ensure alignment between internal teams and external partners.
• Manage project close-out documentation and ensure records are properly completed and maintained.
• Provide administrative support and assist with additional project-related initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• A detail-oriented project professional with experience supporting construction, renovation, or real estate initiatives.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and working in a fast-paced environment that requires organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with real estate construction, capital projects, renovations, or related industries preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with contractors, consultants, and business partners.
• Ability to conduct site visits, evaluate project progress, and identify operational risks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently between project sites.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening.
