Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the execution of engineering, product development, and manufacturing projects by coordinating schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Aid in maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, risk logs, and action item tracking.
- Participate in cross-functional project meetings and document meeting notes, decisions, and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Maintain project progress, identify risks or schedule impacts, and escalate issues as needed.
- Prepare project status reports and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
- Support change management activities, including scope updates and documentation control.
- Assist with project closeout activities, including lessons learned and final documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, engineering or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, engineering support, or related roles.
- Basic understanding of engineering or product development processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to manufacturing, medical device, or regulated industry environments.
- Experience supporting engineers or engineering project teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Power Automate, or similar.
- Exposure to test protocols, engineering change documentation, or business proposals.
- CAPM® certification or formal project management training (or willingness to pursue).
- Internship or co-op experience in engineering, operations, or project coordination.
