About the role

The Department of Management & Entrepreneurship at the University of Louisville College of Business seeks a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member to begin August 1, 2026. The position can be at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor of Practice, or Associate Professor of Practice, depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Teach face-to-face and online management courses, including undergraduate and/or MBA programs.
  • Engage in service assignments that support the mission of the College of Business and the University of Louisville (e.g., serving on committees, advising clubs, mentoring students).

Qualifications

  • A PhD in a related subject area is preferred.
  • A master's degree and significant business experience may also be considered.
  • A demonstrated record of teaching management and organizational behavior courses.
  • The willingness and ability to teach within one or more complementary areas housed within the M&E department (human resource management, hospitality, business communication, franchising, and/or entrepreneurship) will be given strong consideration.
