Associate Professor Term (Open Rank) - Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine

Job Description

The University of Louisville Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine, Division of Primary Care Sports Medicine, is seeking a full-time faculty member to join the department.

Requirements

• Board-certified in Family Medicine (or equivalent primary care training)
• Licensure in the state of Kentucky
• Additional training of an accredited primary care sports medicine fellowship
• Experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound (preference)

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary care
• Supervise residents in the primary care and hospital settings
• See patients in the sports medicine clinic
• Serve as a supervisor for sports medicine fellows
• Attend training room sessions with the University of Louisville athletics
• Opportunities for game coverage and serving as a team physician
• Support students, residents, and fellows
• Support departmental missions for education and clinical service

Qualifications

• Medical Doctorate degree
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills
• Physician license for the state of Kentucky
• ACLS/BLS Certification
