About the Role

The Division of Pediatric Surgery of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and the Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California (USC) are actively seeking an outstanding pediatric surgeon for a full-time faculty member position. We are seeking fellowship-trained applicants in pediatric surgery who are board-eligible in Pediatric Surgery to lead our pediatric surgery fellowship program. The position will include a faculty rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, commensurate with level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Join a high-functioning clinical team of 9 surgeons with the opportunity to take care of complex patients.
• Be the Program Director for one of the oldest pediatric surgery fellowship programs in the country that has been training pediatric surgeons since 1961.
• Experience a commitment to career development with outstanding opportunities for scholarly activity and education.

Requirements

The annual base salary range for this position is $435,000 - $612.116. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
