About the role
The University of Southern California (USC) Division of Pediatrics and the Division of Surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) are actively seeking a full-time board-certified physician leader for the position of Chief of the Division of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery and Co-Director of the Heart Institute at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight for faculty activities and the delivery of medical care in each of the critical environments covered.
- Support the academic success and professional development of our faculty, fellows and team members.
Requirements
- Board-certified pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon.
- Strong orientation toward academic, clinical, research and training excellence.
- Accomplished clinical research record.
- Prior successes in developing and mentoring faculty members.
