Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join 14 other full-time faculty members in the Jackie and Gene Autry Orthopedic Center at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The primary responsibility of this individual will be the orthopaedic care of children and adolescents with general orthopedic and hand and upper extremity pathology, including those with acute traumatic injuries, and the sequelae thereof. The faculty member will actively teach medical students, orthopedic residents, and pediatric orthopedic fellows, and participate in clinical research.

Requirements

Applicants must have completed an accredited orthopedic surgery residency program and pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship and must be or board-certified or board eligible. A valid California medical license and a California fluoroscopy license are required prior to commencing work.

Qualifications

The annual base salary range for this position is $470,000-$531,526. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
