Associate Professor, Academic Clinician - Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

About the Role

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. The role focuses on medical and surgical gynecologic care of children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient pediatric, adolescent, and adult gynecology care.
  • Perform pediatric, adolescent, and adult gynecologic surgery.
  • Clinical training and supervision of fellows, medical students, and residents.
  • Participate in formal teaching curriculum.

Requirements

  • M.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Completed fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology or significant experience in the field, with an ABOG-focused practice designation in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
  • Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fellow, resident, and medical student education.

About the Workplace

The successful candidate will join the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the nation’s largest Adolescent Medicine division, as well as the Department of Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The candidate will also hold an appointment at Hospital University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
