About the role
The Division of Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include training residents and fellows in addition to precepting medical students and other trainees in the field of Sleep Medicine.
- The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
- Clinical responsibilities may include performing comprehensive evaluations of patients with sleep and respiratory disorders and managing patients with sleep disorders;
- interpreting polysomnograms, multiple sleep latency tests, and home sleep apnea tests;
- rounding on the inpatient sleep consult service at Penn Presbyterian;
- attending in the sleep disorders clinic and sleep telemedicine program.
Requirements
- Candidates should have an M.D. degree.
- Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Sleep Medicine.
- Clinical responsibilities will be at Pennsylvania Presbyterian as well as the primary outpatient site of the Sleep Division at the University of Pennsylvania.

- Demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
