Assistant Professor - Internal Medicine (Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine)

Job Duties

• Provide specialized clinical, educational, and/or research services within area of expertise using current, evidence-based practices and techniques.
• Deliver comprehensive services across inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams including ENT, neurology, psychiatry, and primary care to support patient care, program development, innovation, and scholarly activity.
• Contribute to the education, training, and mentorship of residents and fellows.
• Participate in departmental and divisional meetings, case conferences, teaching rounds, and academic activities as assigned.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain expertise in sleep medicine, including interpretation of sleep studies and PAP management.

Required Qualifications

• Education: MD, DO or equivalent.
• This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position.
• Certifications/Licenses: Licensed or eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri. Board certification/eligible in Sleep Medicine.
• Work Experience: Completion of an Internal Medicine residency. Completion of a Sleep Medicine fellowship.
