Assistant Professor - Internal Medicine (Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Medicine)

Job Duties

• Conduct respiratory basic/translational research, acute/chronic lung injury, as Principal/Co-Investigator.
• Train and educate students, residents, fellows, and faculty in a research setting.
• Obtain extramural/internal grant funding to support laboratory/research team.
• Mentoring and evaluating students, fellows, and faculty, as well as participating in weekly lectures and discussion groups.
• Representation of the University at national and international conferences, through scholarly contributions, such as lectures and poster presentations, and presentation of research results through publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in basic/translational research in respiratory field.
