Assistant/Associate Professor of Medicine/ Pulmonary/Critical Care (Nocturnist)

About the role

This position includes patient care, teaching and scholarship. Research support is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine service at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School
• Teach fellows, residents and medical students
• Contribute to research activities

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified Pulmonary Critical Care physician
• Experience in critical care settings
• Interest in academic medicine

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current NJ Medical License
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
