Associate - Product Operations
DoorDash Drive is our company's hyper-growth platform team serving restaurants, grocers, and retailers across the United States, Canada, and Australia. We are revolutionizing the delivery experience for merchants and customers by offering the next generation of fulfillment services. The Drive New Verticals team works closely with multiple cross-functional partners to incubate new service offerings and quickly launch new merchants and revenue on our platform.
About the role
You will drive the product and quality strategy for one of our newest business lines. You will quickly become an expert about our product, operations, and merchants. You will be on the forefront of driving merchant growth by ensuring we have a product strategy aligned with market expectations; monitoring our service quality and deep diving when we deviate from expectations; and providing recommendations to product and operations teams on how to optimize our service offering to meet the growing needs of our merchant and customer base. You will perform comprehensive analysis and make insightful recommendations about our business strategy with the ultimate goal of helping DoorDash disrupt a new industry.
Responsibilities
- Build structure around undefined opportunities by creating and implementing high-impact playbooks, models, processes, and tools to grow the business more quickly and effectively.
- Influence cross-functional teams (Business Development, Product, Logistics, Operations) to shape roadmaps and set requirements.
- Prioritize partner needs by impact, assess tradeoffs, and design solutions that balance speed and quality.
- Analyze key problems using a data-driven, first-principles approach (identification, sizing, pricing, impact, root causing, tradeoffs).
Requirements
- Act with urgency and take ownership; drive multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Strong cross-functional skills and experience with projects spanning multiple teams.
- Organized with a focus on process and thorough documentation.
- Previous experience working in eCommerce and/or logistics.
- Curiosity about the business and how things work; ask great questions and challenge the status quo.

Pay
The national base pay range for this position within the United States is $74,800—$110,000 USD.
Schedule
- For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
- For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g., about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g., about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
