Associate - Prime Brokerage Operations
About the role
We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in ISG Equity Operations responsible for providing first class service and break resolution for a number of clients over various products for global markets. The Associate will work closely with Global Stakeholders including the Prime Brokerage Trade Support teams, Prematch and Fails, the Business Units and senior management across the firm.
Responsibilities
- Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team
- Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements
- Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output
- Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution
- Liaising/communicating with Global stakeholders and various operational groups
- Planning and organizing of project, initiatives and team testing
- Providing reporting /information to management and key stakeholders
- Process management of various client related functions such as trade amendments, client queries & reporting within specified timescales
- Ensuring procedures are accurate, relevant and adhered too
- Pro-actively contributing towards the drive to improve process efficiency through root cause analysis
- Identification and timely escalation of risk items to management
Requirements
Knowledge of the full Trade flow from Execution to settlement for the market & the client
Experience preparing team procedures and assessing/implementing team controls
Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests
Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
At least 2 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Proven track record of successful project implementation

Pay
Baltimore Salary range for the position: $51,000 - $82,500 Yr.
Schedule
The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
