About the role

The Associate Sales & Trading supports the US Rates Trading Division of TD Securities (USA) LLC. This role serves the US Rates desk in New York by handling various responsibilities including trade input, discrepancy resolution, and client service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high touch client service for institutional clients including hedge funds, asset managers, and ETF providers.
  • Manage key processes such as Delta1 Reconciliation, Corporate Action Monitoring, EOD Trade Processing, and client cash settlements.
  • Maintain accurate daily swap trade activity across multiple trading platforms and counterparties.
  • Liaise with Trading, Derivatives, and Sales partners across the firm and globally to deliver product to clients.
  • Support the gathering of documentation for new accounts and act as a liaison between front, back, and middle offices.
  • Input trades (post execution), verify transactions meet company policies, and resolve trade discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with back office on trade status, position breaks, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Improve workflow efficiency and present new ideas to clients.
  • Ensure all trades are confirmed with the broker/dealer and keep market-making traders informed of relevant issues.

Requirements

  • Experience in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or specialized training.
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Management experience and solid computer skills are a must.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
