Associate Planner & Scheduler I, Project Controls (Hybrid Schedule)
About the Role
As the Associate Planner & Scheduler I in Project Controls, you will plan, schedule, manage, and report on Transmission Organization projects, including Capital Projects, Maintenance Projects, and Distribution Projects. You will establish, maintain, analyze, and report on costs and schedules associated with project activities, and assist in determining schedule conflicts and resource solutions to meet project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, maintaining, analyzing, and managing project activities and resources to support project and department requirements.
- Monitor and report on baselines for cost and schedule.
- Assist in determining internal and external engineering and construction resource solutions for meeting project objectives.
- Identify internal and external engineering and construction resources in the schedule and any constraints on current and future projects.
- Communicate project status and resource loading with team members and the Lead Transmission & Engineering Planner & Scheduler.
- Communicate project plan changes and advise team members of potential conflicts and solutions.
- Assist in expediting project plan changes and reallocating resources to accommodate changes and conflicts.
- Evaluate project forecasts to ensure desired results are achieved.
- Assist in developing alternative solutions for resolving potential project resource constraints, schedule conflicts, and cost overruns.
- Participate in intra- and inter-departmental activities to ensure adherence to schedule and established guidelines.
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and meet department objectives.
- Strong coordination and implementation skills to achieve goals and targets.
- Project scheduling experience and knowledge of Primavera (version 5 or better) preferred.
- Proficiency in PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent is preferred.
- Zero to two years of project controls, planning, and scheduling work experience using Primavera P6 preferred.
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment, requiring sitting, standing, and movement throughout the office area.
- Repetitive movement of hands and fingers through typing and writing; reaching with hands and arms.
- Occasional standing, walking, stooping, or bending.
- Travel required to Eversource office locations, project sites, and contractor locations.
- Must be available for emergency storm assignments as required.

Pay
Annual salary range for this position is $73,110.00–$81,230.00. This position is eligible for a potential incentive.
