Associate Planner & Scheduler I, Project Controls (Hybrid Schedule)
About the role
The Associate Planner & Scheduler I, Project Controls (Hybrid Schedule) plays a crucial role in planning, scheduling, managing, and reporting on the Transmission Organization's projects. This includes Capital Projects, Maintenance Projects, and Distribution Projects managed by Transmission within the Eversource projects portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, maintaining, analyzing, and managing project activities and resources to support project and department requirements.
- Monitor and report on cost and schedule baselines.
- Aid in determining internal and external engineering and construction resource solutions for project objectives.
- Identify available engineering and construction resources in the schedule and assess constraints on current and future projects.
- Communicate project status and resource loading with team members and the Lead Transmission & Engineering Planner & Scheduler.
- Advise team members and the Lead Planner & Scheduler on potential project plan changes and resource reallocations.
- Evaluate project forecasts to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
- Develop alternative solutions for resolving potential resource constraints, schedule conflicts, and cost overruns.
- Participate in intra and inter-departmental activities to ensure adherence to schedules and established guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Zero to two years of project controls, planning, and scheduling work experience using Primavera P6 is preferred.
- Ability to use PC desktop applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Qualifications

- Goal-driven and able to coordinate and implement necessary actions to achieve departmental goals.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with peers and management.
- Project scheduling experience and knowledge of Primavera (5 or better).

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $73,110.00-$81,230.00. Salary is commensurate with experience.
