About the role
Farella Braun + Martel LLP seeks a skilled and highly qualified antitrust litigation associate or special counsel with at least two years of litigation experience to join their nationally recognized antitrust litigation practice.
Responsibilities
- Represent both plaintiffs and defendants in high-profile conduct cases across various industries in courts across the nation.
- Represent state attorneys general nationwide in both merger and conduct matters.
- Handle both civil and criminal matters.
- Play active roles in trial strategy and execution.
- Contribute directly to significant client victories through activities like examining CEOs on the witness stand, cross-examining experts, and arguing pre-trial motions in high-stakes federal and state trials.
Requirements
- A strong academic record from a highly ranked law school.
- Previous experience as a federal judicial clerk or experience with a government enforcer.
Qualifications

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Experience with complex litigation strategies and techniques.

Pay
The annual base compensation range for this California position is between $222,500 and $352,500. Placement within the salary range depends upon a number of factors, including but not limited to years of relevant experience and professional skills required for this role.
Schedule
In-person attendance and collaboration are critical to an Associate’s professional development. This position requires working a minimum 3 days on average in the San Francisco office.
