About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Pearle Vision (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Pearle Vision Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients. - Work in a fully furnished office with a full suite of OD equipment. - Operate under professional autonomy with full scope of practice. - Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor. - Offer flexible scheduling options including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule. - Utilize an automated online appointment book and patient recall system.

Requirements

- Hold a current license to practice optometry in Virginia. - Possess a strong background in optometry and related fields. - Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

- Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Current license to practice optometry in Virginia.
