About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Pearle Vision (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Pearle Vision Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients. - Work within the practice of a Pearle Vision Subleasing Optometrist. - Operate under the full scope of practice predicated only on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor. - Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor.

Requirements

- Possess a valid State license to practice optometry. - Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in optometry. - Be able to work flexible hours including part-time commitments or add work to an existing practice schedule.

Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Current registration with the appropriate state board of optometry.

Skills

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to manage a busy practice and prioritize tasks effectively. - Proficiency in using automated appointment booking systems.
