About the role

The Independent Doctor of Optometry will work within the practice of a Pearle Vision Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. As an Associate Optometrist, you will have professional autonomy to care for patients, full scope of practice based on your discretion, flexible scheduling options, and access to a fully furnished office with OD equipment.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality optometric care and service to patients - Collaborate with the Subleasing doctor to manage the practice - Adhere to the terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours negotiated directly with the Subleasing doctor

Requirements

- Hold a valid Doctor of Optometry license - Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Have a strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction

Qualifications

- At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in optometry - Experience working in an independent practice setting preferred

Skills

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of optometry - Ability to manage a busy practice and maintain patient records - Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay

- Compensation details are determined by multiple factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. A competitive bonus and/or commission plan may also be offered.
