About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Pearle Vision (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Pearle Vision Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients. - Work within the practice of a Pearle Vision Subleasing Optometrist. - Operate under the full scope of practice predicated only on your professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor. - Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor. - Enjoy flexible scheduling options including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule. - Work in a fully furnished office with a full suite of OD equipment. - Utilize an automated online appointment book and patient recall system.

Requirements

- Current license to practice optometry in Virginia. - Experience in providing comprehensive eye care services. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Board certification in optometry preferred.

- Proficiency in optometric diagnostic techniques. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage a busy practice effectively.
