Associate Ophthalmic Assistant
About the role
Perform preliminary screening examinations and/or tests to facilitate diagnosis and treatment by the provider. Assist the physician with procedures and care of the patient. Collect subjective and objective ophthalmic data from the patient or caregiver and communicate this data to the doctor.
Qualifications
- High School graduate is preferred.
- Will provide training and education for required skills.
- Previous health care experience or training in ophthalmology, optometry, and/or optical office preferred.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
