Position Responsibilities
- Supports the planning, implementation and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes.
- Plans and conducts health and safety audits.
- Supports production operations through identification and mitigation of risk.
- Interfacing with various organizations and departments.
- Participate in incident investigations.
- Identify and develop corrective action plans to respond to internal/external audits and inspections.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively on cross functional teams.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 1+ year of experience in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
- 1+ year of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
- Experience evaluating and supporting work-at-height activities, including a strong understanding of fall protection systems, fall hazard assessments, applicable regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Experience developing and implementing process improvements
- Experience with Enablon Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
