About the role

The postings combine the responsibilities of an Associate Medical Assistant and a Medical Assistant. Consideration for either role will be based on qualifications. Applicants with the qualifications of either position are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients.
  • Performs both administrative and clinical duties to meet basic patient care needs.
  • Performs in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Associate Medical Assistant:
    • Coursework/Training and Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
    • Coursework/Training and Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
    • Coursework/Training and Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
    • Coursework/Training and minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
    • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
    • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Medical Assistant:
    • Coursework/Training and Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
    • Coursework/Training and Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
    • Coursework/Training and Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
    • Coursework/Training and minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
    • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.

    • 6 months healthcare experience.
    • 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Qualifications

    • Washington Medical Assistant Certification within 30 days of hire.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.
    • 6 months healthcare experience.
    • 6 months Medical Assistant experience.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail, and proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).

  • Associate Medical Assistant: Min: $22.24, Max: $33.33
  • Medical Assistant: Min: $24.26, Max: $37.11

Schedule

Full time, multiple shifts available.
