About the role

The Certified/Registered Medical Assistant-ECPC Goldsboro Pain Clinic is a full-time position that supports the clinic's mission of treating and managing pain through a multi-modal approach. The role involves both clinical and administrative tasks, assisting clinicians in providing comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients.
• Take vitals.
• Prepare/clean up procedure rooms.
• Assist physicians with a wide variety of procedures.
• Fax notes to other practices.
• Document patient notes in EMR (eClinicalWorks).
• Obtain prior authorizations for procedures.
• Assisting with front desk processes when needed.
• Aid with the C-arm.
• Handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Certified or registered medical assistant.
• Two years’ medical assisting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency with EMRs.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Good time management, follow-through, and organizational skills.
