Responsibilities

  • Performs duties as directed to assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients.
  • Performs both administrative and clinical duties to meet basic patient care needs.
  • Performs in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Associate Medical Assistant:
    • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school with clinical training.
    • Or: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
    • Or: Completion of two years of medical training in the US Armed Forces.
    • Or: Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant, including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
    • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
    • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
    • 6 months healthcare experience.
    • 6 months medical assistant experience.
  • Medical Assistant Registered WA:
    • Within 60 days of hire: Washington Medical Assistant Registration.
    • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
    • 6 months healthcare experience.
    • 6 months medical assistant experience.
  • Medical Assistant:

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail, and proficiency in electronic health record systems are required.

Pay

Base pay range: $22.24 - $33.33 for Associate Medical Assistant, $21.35 - $31.98 for Medical Assistant Registered WA, and $24.26 - $37.11 for Medical Assistant. Additional compensation may be available.

Schedule

Full-time schedule available.
