Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to maximize equipment availability.
- Repair and maintain valves, centrifuges, pumps, autoclaves, washers, tanks, and associated piping.
- Rebuild pumps, valves, bearing assemblies, and mechanical seals.
- Follow cGMP, SOPs, manufacturing documentation, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections of rigging and fall protection equipment.
- Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately to support Right-First-Time operations.
- Read and interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
- Collect and organize technical information from equipment manufacturers, engineering teams, and equipment users.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Technology, and other departments to ensure reliable equipment performance.
- Escalate equipment and process issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with equipment startup, validation activities, and spare parts management.
- Train and mentor other maintenance mechanics.
- Utilize CMMS, corporate applications, and Microsoft Office tools to support maintenance activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-6 years of industrial process maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Experience with pumps, valves, centrifuges, autoclaves, washers, tanks, piping systems, and mechanical seals.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs.
- Working knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Experience using CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong documentation, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with reasonable accommodation.
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay
- Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
Schedule
- Onsite, 40 hours per week.
