Job Overview
This role supports the design and development of structures, machinery, and mechanical systems within a collaborative engineering environment. Working alongside experienced team members, the position focuses on building foundational technical skills through the application of core engineering principles, analysis, and hands-on project support.
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering and physics principles to solve complex, real-world challenges
- Support the design and development of structures, machinery, and mechanical systems in alignment with project requirements and applicable standards
- Perform analysis and validation through calculations, simulations, and engineering tools, and clearly communicate results
- Learn and apply established engineering solutions, methods, and internal best practices
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to meet project objectives
- Cook up with project managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to meet project objectives
- Cook up with external partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to support successful project execution
- Contribute within a design and manufacturing environment, supporting overall team deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and theory
- Exposure to topics such as: Machine design, Stress and fatigue analysis, Material science, Dynamics and power transmission
- Familiarity with engineering analysis tools (e.g., FEA software such as ANSYS or equivalent)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and willingness to learn
- Flexibility to support project deadlines as needed
- Willingness to travel occasionally
