This role supports the execution of all Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Patient programs across Xeris’ marketed products, focusing on the development and execution of HCP and patient engagement initiatives. The Associate Manager will work cross-functionally with sales, market access, commercial operations, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, and other functions to achieve patient and HCP engagement objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Associate Director, HCP and Patient Engagement in developing objectives and strategies for HCP and patient programs across marketed products, aligning with business objectives and individual brand strategies.
  • Develops and maintains systems and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance in vendor relationship management, including backend onboarding and payments for external partners.
  • Engages with stakeholders across all brands to develop and fulfill content, collateral, and campaign assets, ensuring effective campaign delivery aligned with brand strategy and objectives.
  • Manages materials through the legal and regulatory review process, including addressing action items identified during MAP meetings.
  • Supports the execution of the peer-to-peer program strategy, collaborating cross-functionally to operationalize new processes.
  • Evaluates and implements processes and procedures to increase project speed while maintaining compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and Xeris policies.
  • Manages a project management tool for adoption across the marketing team to enhance campaign visibility and communication.
  • Maintains the HCP and patient engagement budget and vendors, overseeing line items, reporting cost savings, analyzing ROI, and identifying areas for growth.
  • Partners with Commercial Operations to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and privacy.
  • Collaborates with the MAP Coordinator and internal team to identify and implement optimizations in Veeva PromoMats.
  • Leads the management and maintenance of marketing contracts and purchase orders, ensuring timely review and execution while keeping project owners updated.
  • Manages the end-to-end process for print marketing collateral, including oversight of external partners, budget management, inventory, fulfillment site optimization, and sales rep orders.
  • Oversees approved print pieces, including print proof approval, quantity management, and coordination of drop shipments to representatives.
  • Leads or participates in additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field of study; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing or sales experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, finance, or education.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an operations role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with autonomy.
  • Understanding of FDA regulations and guidance regarding advertising and promotion of highly regulated products or services.
  • Strong proficiency with Veeva, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and project management tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills to achieve objectives and meet targets.

Schedule

  • Hybrid role based in Xeris’ Chicago office, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
  • Periodic evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Approximately 25% overnight travel anticipated.

Pay

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $96,000 - $128,000. Starting pay is determined based on role, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, internal equity, market data, and location.
