About the role
The Manager of Patient Engagement serves as a liaison between patients, families, and the health system to address concerns, resolve complaints, and improve the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates investigations across multiple departments
- Facilitates communication among departments
- Led service recovery efforts to ensure patient concerns are addressed promptly, professionally, and compassionately
- Identifies trends and opportunities for improvement to support quality care and patient satisfaction across the organization
Requirements
- Experience in healthcare preferred
- Experience working with outside departments on improvement projects preferred
- Experience working with large data sets and platforms
- Preferably with a history of working with dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and improving data integration
- Comfortable and experienced presenting in front of leadership and staff
- Experience in managing performance improvement projects
- Experience in managing complaints required
- Comfortable working with others to meet deadlines
- Experience educating clinical and non-clinical staff
- Familiar with patient experience best practices
- Familiar with CI CARE model of service delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
