Associate Manager, Flow Cytometry

We are seeking an Associate Manager, Flow Cytometry to lead laboratory operations at a facility in Valencia. Responsibilities Include Leading and supervising a team of scientists to ensure accurate, timely flow cytometry testing.Overseeing daily workflow, assigning tasks, and resolving technical or workload issues.Hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating staff performance.Monitoring inventory of reagents and supplies, ensuring compliance with budget and availability.Maintaining adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards (CAP/CLIA).Reviewing laboratory metrics to identify process improvements and enhance efficiency.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new tests, equipment, and procedures.Serving as a backup for laboratory operations as needed. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field or equivalent experience.At least 4 years in a regulated laboratory environment, with 2+ years in flow cytometry.Experience supervising and mentoring laboratory staff.Strong technical skills in laboratory operations, including assay execution.In-depth knowledge of flow cytometry, quality control, and laboratory regulations.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with quality assurance, safety standards, and process improvements.
