Associate Manager-Field Services Outside Plant Construction Splicer

About the role

TDS Telecom is seeking an experienced Associate Manager – Field Services Outside Plant Construction to lead fiber splicing operations and support capital projects in Montana markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fiber splicing, testing, and quality control, as well as experience in supervising construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities and personnel for OSP fiber network construction to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Facilitates meetings with Network Services to ensure timely project closure and resource allocation.
• Provides leadership to construction teams to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Ensures compliance with TDS policies and collaborates with adjacent teams.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for network projects and customer-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of professional work experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• 3+ years' experience in telecommunications, including supervisory experience.
• Strong overhead and underground fiber construction background.
• Available for 24/7 availability and 7-day work schedules in some markets.
• Resides within 50 miles of a Montana market.
• Frequent travel within assigned markets.
