About the role
Responsible for managing the design and development of cable and harness systems for aerospace and defense projects. Oversee the integration of cables and harnesses into complex mechanical and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed design specifications for cable and harness systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to maintain product integrity.
- Manage the procurement process for materials and components required for cable and harness systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members on cable and harness design issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cable and harness design and management.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for designing cable and harness systems.
- Strong understanding of aerospace and defense industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience with cable and harness testing and certification processes.
- Knowledge of material science and its impact on cable and harness performance.
- Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and radio frequency interference (RFI).
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Pay
- Base salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
