Associate Logistics Specialist (2nd Shift)

About the role

As an Associate Logistics Specialist at RXO, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to both shippers and carriers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve monitoring and tracking pickups and deliveries, ensuring that all runs are on schedule. You will also handle incoming calls and emails from both drivers and customers, providing prompt and effective assistance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track pickups and deliveries, and notify customers of any deviations from the run schedule
• Answer and manage incoming driver and customer calls/emails
• Call and get updates from drivers/carriers and input accurate information into the dispatch system
• Communicate any issues with customers/drivers
• Maintain and update all Active Run problems

Requirements

• Strong organizational and time management skills, including multitasking and managing customer expectations in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• Experience dealing with high phone volume in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong driver and customer interaction experience
• Excellent phone communication skills
• Knowledge of the transportation industry

Qualifications

At a minimum, you’ll need strong organizational and time management skills, basic computer skills, and availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends. Experience dealing with high phone volume in a deadline-driven environment, strong driver and customer interaction experience, and excellent phone communication skills are also important. Knowledge of the transportation industry is beneficial but not required.
