Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer – College of Letters and Science / School of Humanities and Global Studies / Department of History and International Studies (Continuous Recruitment)
This is a continuous recruitment posting for part-time associate lecturer, lecturer, or senior lecturer positions in the Department of History and International Studies. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to build a candidate pool for future needs. Teaching assignments are made on a per-course, per-semester basis (1–12 credits) and do not guarantee future assignments. While primarily on-site, partially remote and remote opportunities may be available.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
- Develop instructional design and curriculum relevant to assigned courses
- Serve as the initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations

The UW-Stevens Point Department of History and International Studies has nine full-time teaching faculty and offers majors in History, History and Social Studies Education, and International Studies. Qualifications
- Required: M.A. in History or related field
- Required: Experience teaching history courses, especially introductory ones in the general education program
- Preferred: Ph.D. in History or related field
