About the Role

Our client is a lower middle market private equity firm focused on investing in healthcare services, healthcare IT, and outsourced healthcare businesses. The firm partners with founder-led and family-owned companies, supporting both platform investments and add-on acquisitions to drive long-term growth and value creation. The investment team consists of a team lead, three Vice Presidents, and two Associates.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new investment opportunities alongside senior investment professionals
  • Conduct industry and market research within healthcare services and healthcare technology
  • Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses
  • Participate in management presentations and due diligence processes
  • Prepare investment committee memoranda and transaction materials
  • Assist with transaction structuring, financing, and execution
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and key operating metrics
  • Support strategic initiatives, add-on acquisitions, and board-level reporting
  • Assist with portfolio company exits and realization activities

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or private credit
  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials
  • Strong accounting, valuation, and financial modeling skills
  • Interest in healthcare investing and lower middle market businesses
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a lean, entrepreneurial team environment
