Associate IT/OT Consultant
Cybersecurity Arc Technologies Group has appointed David Williams as the new Vice President of the OT ICS Cyber Security Practice Lead within the Life Sciences industry.
About the role
David Williams brings extensive experience in the life sciences sector, having previously held key positions at major pharmaceutical companies. His expertise will be pivotal in enhancing the company's capabilities in securing critical infrastructure and operational technology systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to protect OT and ICS systems from cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place across all life sciences operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to mitigate risks associated with OT and ICS vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on OT and ICS environments.
- Proven track record in managing complex cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
- Experience working in the life sciences industry is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Skills
- Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CISA.
