IT Consultant

About the role

We are expanding our support coverage to serve a key client in the San Diego area. As an IT Consultant, you will be the dedicated technical resource, ensuring high-value IT operations for the client. This is a focused, high-ownership position where you provide IT support: you will need to think independently, troubleshoot without a safety net, and deliver a seamless white-glove experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a dedicated IT support technician managing a high volume of support tickets, consistently meeting SLA targets and maintaining quality resolutions
• Handle intermediate-to-advanced troubleshooting of computer, application, and network issues across Mac OS and Windows
• Provision, configure, and maintain user laptops, workstations, and accounts
• Support and facilitate client onboarding and offboarding, from account provisioning to equipment shipments
• Aid on IT project deployments including MDM rollouts, network configurations, and hardware rollouts
• Manage physical assets including inventory, cable management, and general workspace upkeep
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices in line with compliance requirements such as SOC2 and HIPAA
• Help configure automations and tooling especially around onboarding and offboarding workflows
• Mentor and support junior team members as you grow into the role

Technical Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience with Mac OS and Windows operating systems
• Proficiency with core SaaS tools including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and Zoom
• Exposure to MDM platforms such as Kandji, Jamf, or Intune and identity providers such as Okta
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and standard environments including Meraki and Unifi
• Basic understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC2 and HIPAA
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on clear, documented resolutions
