Associate – International Practice

The Boies Schiller Flexner International Practice seeks associates with 3-4 years of experience to provide tailored advice to high net-worth individuals, businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, and trustees. The team handles complex cross-border issues including enforcement actions, global sanctions, trade/export controls, money laundering, asset forfeiture, and white collar defense.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement multijurisdictional strategies
• Advising on cross-border legal issues
• Handling enforcement actions and sanctions compliance
• Assisting with global trade and export controls
• Managing money laundering investigations
• Supporting asset forfeiture proceedings
• Defending clients in white collar criminal cases

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in cross-border work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong academic credentials

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in the state corresponding to your office location
• Experience or interest in cross-border work
• Language skills: Russian, Spanish, or Portuguese (beneficial but not required)
• Sanctions experience (beneficial but not required)
