The Associate Health Principal role at HDR involves guiding the Health sector in the local region, contributing to leadership and visioning, and developing strong client relationships. The position requires a combination of project management, business development, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver great work and grow your craft
- Develop and nurture strong client relationships
- Lead pursuit activities and project teams
- Contribute to or lead capture plans, qualifications, and proposals
- Engage clients through regular communication
- Mentor and support health staff and project teams
- Develop and present abstracts and presentations for industry events
- Cultivate a network of industry partners
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the architectural industry
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare architecture
- Strong connections with health systems
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 10+ years of related experience
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience
- Registered Architect license
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and experience within the local and regional market
- Good planning and mentoring skills
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications: 10 years’ experience in the architectural industry, 7 years’ experience in healthcare architecture, strong connections with health systems, local candidates preferred
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, 10 years related experience, minimum 5 years project management experience, registered architect, experience with Microsoft Office, knowledge and experience within the local and regional market, good planning and mentoring skills, attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
