About the role
The Operations Emerging Talent Rotational Program at Amgen is designed to develop future leaders with a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and soft skills. This program aims to prepare participants to make a positive impact and take on leadership challenges in the Operations organization.
Responsibilities
- Complete complex rotation assignments and tasks
- Dive into new topics, work areas, and functions, ramping up knowledge quickly to contribute meaningfully
- Demonstrate agility and flexibility while transitioning through three rotations
- Understand the wider business context and how your own work contributes to Amgen's strategies and goals
- Use data and insights to drive business performance
Requirements
Selected candidates must be available for full-time employment in July 2027 and be available for the 26-month Rotational Program consisting of one 10-month and two 8-month rotations in Operations. The program kicks off in July 2027.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or other relevant disciplines by July 2027
- Proven leadership skills, demonstrated through extra-curricular or work experience activities
- Previous Amgen or relevant industry experience in biopharma, manufacturing, or engineering environment
- Minimum GPA of 3.20 preferred
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across teams and levels of management
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a dedicated approach to achieving success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices

Pay
The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
Schedule
The Operations Emerging Talent Rotational Program consists of one 10-month and two 8-month rotations in Operations, starting in July 2027.
