Associate Field Technician/ Field Technician/ Sr. Field Technician

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out daily operations and maintenance tasks to maintain necessary gas flow and meet all regulatory requirements of a Natural Gas Compressor Station and Pipeline. This position will be required to operate the compressor station on a rotating basis. The incumbent will be expected to respond to callouts during assigned week of Operating duties and in addition will periodically be part of the On-Call rotation for the area and respond to emergency or abnormal situations.

Duties

• Handle natural gas related to reciprocating compression equipment, pipeline, and all related subsystems at the company’s Baldknob, AR work location.
• Perform all assigned construction duties, as well as preventative pipeline maintenance and operations related to meter stations, corrosion control, and right-of-way maintenance.
• Manage facility encroachment activities including pipe location, excavation, and inspection.
• Achieve Operator Qualification tasks and ECP skills necessary for job performance.
• Occasionally assist at other work locations.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and no restrictions.
