About the role

The Los Angeles office of Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete seeks an associate attorney with 2-6 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings
  • Drafting and arguing motions
  • Taking and defending depositions primarily in matters in state and federal court and arbitration involving claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, etc.
  • Providing advice and counsel support to clients

Requirements

  • Significant experience in labor and employment law, wage and hour, and PAGA related matters
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Must be admitted to practice in California

Skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

We expect to consider qualified candidates within the range of $185k-$215k; however, we do make hiring decisions based on each candidate’s unique experience, as well as additional factors.

Pay

Salary range: $185k - $215k

Schedule

Hybrid working flexibilities are available.
