Associate, Employment Litigation

About the role

Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete seeks an associate with 2-5 years of experience, based in the state of Texas. The candidate for this role will ideally reside near Dallas for remote and/or in-person work. Candidates located outside of Dallas will be open for consideration as well.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings
• Drafting and arguing motions
• Taking and defending depositions

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience
• Prior experience in labor and employment law is required
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Active admission to practice and in good standing in the State of Texas
