Associate, Employment Litigation

Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete’s Boston office is seeking an Associate with 3 to 7 years of experience in labor and employment law.

About the role

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hybrid environment and have experience in state and federal court and arbitration, handling claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and related matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings
• Draft and argue motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Provide advice and counsel support to clients (preferred)

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in labor and employment law
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts

Pay

$230,000 – $265,000 per year, with adjustments based on each candidate’s unique experience and other factors.
