Associate Director US Oncology Marketing - Late Lifecycle Strategy
This role will play a critical role in shaping commercial strategy for one of the largest oncology brands in the industry as it approaches a dynamic and evolving market environment. The Associate Director will develop strategic recommendations to optimize promotional investments and customer engagement efforts throughout the late lifecycle period.
Responsibilities
- Develop and recommend late lifecycle marketing strategies to optimize business performance in an evolving competitive environment.
- Guide decisions on promotional investment, prioritization, channel strategy, and resource allocation across customer segments and tumor types.
- Assess the impact of competitive events, market dynamics, and LOE-related developments, translating insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
- Help develop customer communication plans, approved response materials, and field guidance addressing anticipated marketplace questions.
- Partner with field leadership to ensure customer-facing teams are prepared for evolving market dynamics and stakeholder discussions.
- Collaborate across Oncology Marketing, OCAR, Field Leadership, Analytics, Market Research, and other stakeholders to drive strategic alignment and execution.
- Present recommendations and influence key business decisions with senior leadership.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure appropriate development and execution of promotional materials and customer-facing resources.
- Drive high-quality execution while fostering a culture of accountability, compliance, and customer focus.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related commercial experience.
- Minimum 3 years of marketing, sales, market access, commercial strategy, or related experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing commercial strategies and leading cross-functional execution.
- Experience presenting recommendations to leadership and influencing business decisions.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience working within Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review processes.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology experience preferred.
- Field sales or oncology sales experience preferred.
- Experience in lifecycle management, commercialization strategy, market access, or oncology marketing.
- Experience supporting products facing significant competitive or market transition events.
- Demonstrated success working across complex matrix organizations.
- Understanding of provider, payer, and oncology customer dynamics.
Position location: Upper Gwynedd, PA (hybrid) or Remote.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $156,900.00 - $247,000.00. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
